The client’s primary objective was to maximize operational efficiency without compromising comfort or aesthetics. Their team required a layout that promoted collaboration while preserving privacy where needed. Our task was to translate this vision into a precise 2D layout that considered space flow, movement, and departmental cohesion.
To reflect DSV Global’s status as an international logistics company, a clean, modern theme was selected. We kept the design language sleek and professional — balancing open zones with defined spaces. The layout had to mirror their brand’s core values: clarity, structure, and efficiency.
Zoning was at the heart of the design. Each area — from executive rooms to collaborative zones — was thoughtfully positioned to minimize noise interference and foot traffic disruptions. The 2D layout strategically divided the space to ensure easy navigation while keeping departments interconnected for seamless operations.
While this project focused on the 2D layout, we envisioned material options that would complement the functional plan: neutral-toned flooring, matte partitions for privacy, and high-durability materials suitable for a fast-moving corporate environment. We incorporated texture ideas that aligned with both durability and visual appeal.
Although actual lighting installation wasn’t part of the 2D stage, we planned zones considering natural light sources and artificial lighting needs. The layout accounted for strategic desk placement to reduce screen glare and enhance productivity, ensuring that future lighting integration would be seamless.
Every workstation, storage unit, and meeting space was plotted with precision. Clear walkways were prioritized, and collaborative desks were arranged to foster communication. Storage zones were placed near high-usage departments to reduce time wastage, ensuring a clutter-free, organized workspace that supports workflow efficiency.
The design not only accommodated the current team but also allowed scalability. The modularity within the layout gives the client room to grow without the need for a major overhaul. From ergonomic desk orientations to optimized meeting zones, the layout was crafted to evolve with the company’s needs.
