The main challenge for this project was clear from the beginning—help the client visualize the complete transformation of their new 3-bedroom apartment before a single nail hit the wall. Our goal was to provide them with a tool that offered not just imagination, but certainty. Through a detailed 3D layout, we allowed the client to preview their future space in precise visual terms, helping them confidently make key decisions on design, layout, and functionality.
We chose a theme rooted in contemporary elegance—combining sleek lines, functional furniture, and soft tones to reflect a calm yet elevated lifestyle. The style was crafted to feel modern, welcoming, and distinctly personal, reflecting the client’s need for a soothing sanctuary after a long day. The 3D layout allowed us to showcase how this theme would unfold in each room, tying together every corner with a harmonious design language.
The 3D layout became a map to strategically plan zones—dividing private, semi-private, and communal spaces effectively. The living and dining areas were opened up to encourage interaction, while bedrooms were carved out to feel cozy and private. The kitchen’s placement optimized workflow, and utility spaces were subtly integrated to maintain a clean flow throughout the home. Visualizing these zones in 3D helped prevent spatial clutter and guided smooth circulation within the apartment.
Choosing the right finishes can make or break a space. Using 3D renders, we tested combinations of natural wood grains, soft matte textures, marble highlights, and neutral base tones—ultimately crafting a palette that enhanced the visual depth and warmth of the apartment. The client was able to see how these textures interacted with natural light across the day—an insight only 3D visualization could truly offer.
Proper lighting can elevate a design from good to extraordinary. Through the 3D layout, we demonstrated different ambient lighting setups—cove lights in the ceilings, task lights in the kitchen, and accent lights highlighting décor pieces. With limited space and unlimited expectations, we needed custom-fit furniture that was both stylish and practical. Using the 3D layout, we experimented with modular sofas, built-in storage, and minimalist furniture pieces that didn’t overpower the space. Décor elements like framed art, rugs, and planters were positioned virtually to test aesthetics and functionality—resulting in a final design that felt curated and complete.
Beyond beauty, the design had to serve the client’s everyday needs. From placing electrical sockets where the family actually needed them to ensuring ergonomic design in the kitchen layout, everything was rooted in functionality. The 3D model allowed us to test the usability of each corner of the home—ensuring the final output wasn’t just visually appealing but also practically perfect.
